Diglett and Wooper are two common Pokémon with very uncommon abilities — Diglett can have the Arena Trap ability, which prevents Pokemon from fleeing battle. Wooper can have the Damp ability, which prevents Pokemon from using Self-Destruct.
Both of these abilities are absolutely essential for capturing certain Pokémon –Diglett can prevent Wimpod from retreating, and Wooper can stop Weezing from exploding.
- How To Catch: Diglett and Wooper are common Pokemon in the Wild Area. Their evolved forms, Digtrio and Quagsire, are also pretty common.
Lanturn is a fishy deep-sea Pokémon with a unique ability — having a Lanturn with the Illuminate ability on your team increases wild spawns. You’ll see way more “!” Pokémon while exploring grass, making Lanturn a great Pokemon when you go hunting for rares.
