In The Items Menu, Press [Y / Triangle] To Break Down / Swap / Repair / Unequip
There’s a sub-menu you can use in your inventory that gives you instant access to a few useful features. For example, the Swap command is hidden in the radial Options menu when using any inventory screen. This allows you to swap positions of your primary four weapons. You can move your favorites to the front, or put melee weapons in the rear. Whatever you want to do, now you can do it with a lot less annoying fiddling.
Don’t Forget To Check All Tabs When Modifying Weapons / Armor — Some Mods Are Specific!
At any workbench, you can apply powerful mods. Next to each weapon / armor, there are white dots. Those are mod slots, and if you don’t check every tab when modding, you might miss out on powerful upgrades. Lots of the early armor suits have four mod slots, so make sure to scroll through all four — use the triggers consoles — to see everything you can apply.
Talk To Vicar Max And Complete His Quest To Unlock A Second Companion
Go to the local church in Edgewater, and you’ll find a strange companion. This guy will only become available after you’ve repaired your ship, but if you finish all the steps of his heretical quest, he’ll join you onboard the Unreliable. That’s a big surprise! Does he have hidden motives? I have no idea, but it’s always worth it to find extra companions.
Talk To Constable Reyes And Hunt Bounties — One Has A Unique Melee Weapon
One early side-quest you can take on is found in Constable Reyes’ office. Talk to her, and she’ll send you to hunt three pesky bandits outside of town. There’s a fun reward waiting in a cave up north — the Blad On Stik unique. The Blad On Stik 2H Melee Weapon carried by one of the three bandits, inside the Marauder Hideout. It’s northwest of Edgewater, just west of the Botanical Labs.
Get Special Dumb Dialogue When Your Intelligence Is Set To Very Low
Want to roleplay a big dumb brute? Now you can! Just set your Intelligence to Very Low in Character Creation, and you’ll get unique dialogue options that show the world how dumb you really are. If you’re playing on Supernova difficulty, this ‘perk’ can actually happen temporarily.
