Borderlands 3: Use This ‘Loot Cave’ To Farm For Endless Post-Game Legendary Guns | Loot Tink Farming Guide

September 16, 2019 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Hunt endlessly respawning Loot Tinks in Borderlands 3 with this amazing ‘Loot Cave’ find.

Shared by the incredible super-fans of the Borderlands 3 reddit, this crazy ‘Loot Cave’ can net players multiple Legendary weapons per run. This is so good, there’s always a danger that it could get patched out, so you’ll want to work fast and start farming now if you want to get a whole bunch of easy Legendary rarity weapons with basically zero effort.

To do this farming method, you’ll need to reach a late-game area. I won’t spoil it here, so just keep scrolling. The farm becomes even more effective if you play at Mayhem 3 — Mayhem Mode is unlocked after completing the game, so you’ll need to finish up the story to upgrade this into an insane Legendary farm.

This method was shared by u/WhimsicalJest, so all thanks go to them for discovering this crazy ‘loot cave’.

How To Farm Loot Tinks For Tons Of Legendary Guns | Post-Game Farming Guide

To begin this farm, you’ll need to reach the planet Eden-6 and reach Jakobs Estate. That’s late in the game — you can make the farm even better after completing the story and bumping up the difficulty to Mayhem III. Even at Mayhem I, you’ll get a lot more high-tier gear.

Go to the area with the elevator (Servant’s Lift) that takes you up to Jakobs Mansion. There’s a bridge with a New-U Station here — take note of the New-U Station, it’ll make farming much easier. Make sure to activate it as you pass!

Run into the area with the lift, and you’ll find a Loot Tink. The Loot Tink will always respawn, and there’s a chance more Loot Tinks will spawn in the area, too. When you defeat the Loot Tink, don’t forget to loot the backpack on the ground. There’s even more awesome stuff inside.

After taking out the Loot Tink, just exit to Menu then reload. You’ll respawn at the New-U Station by the bridge. Now you can just repeat the process, hunting the Loot Tink and respawning constantly.

Legendary Weapons are a lot more commonly dropped by Loot Tinks — if you’re running on Mayhem III, it’s possible to get multiple Legendary guns per run! It only takes a few minutes, and you’ll be swimming in high-tier weapons.
