Yes, there are hidden characters you can unlock in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. That includes the Mad Titan himself, Thanos! He’s a fully playable character, but unlocking him is extremely difficult. You’ll need to play this game a very, very long time to get Thanos, so be prepared to grind.
The other three are still difficult, but it shouldn’t take you that much time. Magneto, Loki, and Elektra are villains (or villain-adjacent) characters that sometimes work with the good guys when things look dire.
Unlocking all of these characters is dependent on the elaborate Infinity system. This special bonus mode has a variety of unlockable challenges, and each one has a special character you can unlock at the end — I’ll explain exactly when you can unlock these characters in the full guide below.

How To Unlock Secret Characters | Elektra, Magneto, Loki & Thanos Guide
There are multiple optional bonus characters you can unlock in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Two of them, the last two, are very special. You’ll need to complete the game at least twice (almost!) to unlock Thanos, so it’s going to require a lot of grinding.
How To Unlock Elektra: Complete Infinity Rift Gamma – Ultimate: Bad Business Lv. 30 — This rift is first available in Chapter 3.
How To Unlock Magneto: Complete Infinity Rift Psi – Boss Wave: Defeat Klaw & 2 Bosses Lv. 38 — This rift is first available in Chapter 5.
How To Unlock Loki: Complete Infinity Rift Sigma – Boss Wave: Defeat Ebony Maw & 4 Bosses Lv. 45 — This rift is first available in Chapter 9.
NOTE: Loki is only available after completing the game on ‘Mighty’ difficulty. To unlock him, you have to fight all five members of the Black Order in a trial, one-at-a-time. It’s pretty hard!
How To Unlock Thanos: Complete Infinity Rift Lambda – Ultimate: The Black Order Lv. 65 — This rift is available after completing Chapter 10.
NOTE: Yes, the mad titan himself can be recruited. To unlock him, you need to reach Chapter 10 on Hard difficulty and complete many of the trials in the final rift. To get him, you’ll need to defeat all five members of the Black Order, all at the same time. It’s the ultimate challenge.
