The massive, complex castle at the heart of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a maze you’ll have to slowly uncover. For every new area you discover, you’ll find a roadblock stopping further progress. It isn’t the tough bosses that’ll keep you out — it’s water, heavy objects, narrow passages, or too-tall jumps. If you want to fully unlock everything this evil fortress has to offer, you’ll need to locate all the movement upgrades.
And there are a lot of them. You’ll be able to double-jump, teleport with a laser, walk through water, or invert gravity. Each one is locked away, either behind a boss or by defeating a specific enemy type. The toughest part is just knowing what order you need to unlock these powers — or where to find the next power you need. Below, I’ve got all the powers listed, with basic instructions explaining where to go to get them all.

How To Collect Every Movement Power | Progression Guide
The following powers are unlocked by defeating bosses / enemies, and they’re all required to reach the true ending of the game. You’ll need to unlock these powers in (roughly) this order to access each following upgrade.
Craftwork: The first power you’ll need is a manipulator shard that allows you to move heavy objects. The Craftwork Shard is earned by defeating the boss of Dian Cecht Cathedral.
Double Jump: Earned by defeating the boss of the Livre Ex Machina.
Reflector Ray: Defeat the boss of the Underground Sorcery Lab, which is accessed from the train station.
Aqua Stream: Accessible from a special shard dropped by a Deeseama in the Forbidden Underground Waterway. The enemy can only be accessed later from a special angle — it looks like a strange octopus.
Deep Sinker: Permanent movement upgrade earned by defeating Alfred, the boss in the Hidden Desert. Allows you to walk underwater.
Invert: Permanent movement upgrade earned by defeating the boss in the Inferno Cave. Only accessible after collecting the water walking upgrade from Alfred. Lets you flip the world and ‘fall’ up.
Dimensional Shift: The final movement power is unlocked after you defeat Gremory in the Glacial Tomb.
To progress through the game, you’ll need to find every movement upgrade power. These are all the powers you’ll need — but there are still secrets waiting in the deepest, darkest corners of the castle.
