#5: Save Your Gems & Buy Tickets / Token Doublers For Faster Progress
If you’re a frugal player and don’t want to spend any cash, you can totally do that in Brawl Stars — you’ll just want to save those gems you earn and purchase the two most useful items. To progress at a reasonable pace, you’ll want to earn as many Tickets and Tokens (i.e. Keys) as possible to keep the unlocks flowing.
NOTE: Also, don’t bother spending points on Brawlers. You’ll earn them for free just by playing enough!
#6: Play As Every Brawler To Learn What Makes Them Special
As stated above, you’ll unlock Brawlers just by playing through the game. So, why not use them? You can easily swap Brawlers and quickly learn what makes them special. Some Brawlers are better at holding territory, others are great at grabbing Gems, while others can blast opponents better than the rest. Playing them will also give you a better idea what you’re dealing with when you’re fighting them later.
#7: Join A Band To Better Coordinate With Friends
Even if you’re not a social player, joining a Band (previously called a Club) will help you coordinate much better. Playing will random players is always chaotic — if you play with friends, or even just the same people multiple times, you’ll be able to settle into your roles much easier.
#8: Designate A Player As The Gem Carrier
Winning is all about carrying Gems — so select one person to be the Gem Carrier! They can collect the Gems, and hang back when the fight gets hairy so you don’t lose everything. The Brawler Poco is especially good at sweeping in and collecting up all those precious Gems you need for victory.
