Below: What Ingredients You Need To Craft Every Recipe | Recipes Guide

December 17, 2018 by Kevin Thielenhaus

There is no recipe book in Below — here are all the basic recipes you’ll need to survive in the deep dark depths.

While exploring the unfathomably huge depths of Below, you’ll find lots of ingredients that can be used to craft useful items that’ll help you stay alive on your journey. The darkness just never stops, and you can build some powerful tools while you’re fighting down to the deepest floors of the cavern. Here’s how to build just about every recipe in the game — if you don’t want to guess and fail, just check the quick list of supplies below.

It isn’t exactly clear what every item does. Bandages we can guess, but the Crystal Rod? That’s less obvious. Other handy items like Bombs or Mines can be used to set traps for powerful enemies, or you can strap those bombs onto arrows to create ranged explosives. There are some interesting combos, so it’s worth skimming the list if you’re struggling with the basics of Below.
