- Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment
- Platforms: PS4
- Release: February 28, 2017
Horizon Zero Dawn marks as the first IP developed by Guerrilla Games since their release of Killzone in 2004. This is an action role-playing video game title that is set a thousand years into the future.
Mankind has mysteriously fallen with cities only a shell of a once thriving society. Now only small tribal groups remain with giant mechanical beasts roam the world openly. The plot will revolve around a female hunter named Aloy who sets out on a journey to explore the open world, meet with other tribes, and potentially learn of why she was banished from the tribe as a baby. This is one title that we can see being spanned into more installments though at the current moment, developers Guerrilla Games has yet to announce their next big title. However, in the summer of 2018, the studio was expanding with a new building that will create even more jobs allowing them to likely flesh out new IPs along with brand new installments to Horizon Zero Dawn and the Killzone franchise.
If you’re looking for more after completing Horizon Zero Dawn then we suggest checking out the expansion that launched in 2017 called Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds which takes Aloy on a brand new mystery.

- Release: May 10, 2016
The Uncharted franchise has been immensely popular with Sony gamers with the fourth main installment, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was set to be the conclusion to the Uncharted series starring Nathan Drake.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End takes place several years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, where Nathan Drake has been retired from fortune hunting. That is until he is reunited with his older brother Sam and partner Sully where the trio must search for clues to the location of Captain Henry Avery’s long-lost treasure in order to save Sam’s life. Again this journey is said to be the last for Nathan Drake and it felt like Naughty Dog put their all into the installment before it officially launched. While a standalone expansion has been released called Uncharted: The Lost Legacy since the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, we’re unsure if we’ll see a new installment launch anytime soon from the developers.

What can we say about God of War that you probably are not already fully aware of? The video game franchise got its start back in the days of the PlayStation 2 and is still going strong today. However, this title, in particular, is more of a soft reboot to the franchise. If you’re familiar with the past installments, this time around Kratos has ended his time with Greek mythology and has since moved onto Norse mythology. Likewise, Kratos will not be alone anymore as he will be looking over his son named Atreus, preparing him for the real world after the recent passing of his mother.
