#9 Uncharted The Lost Legacy
- Developer: Naughty Dog
- Publisher: Sony Computer Entertainment
- Platforms: PS4
- Release: August 22, 2017
The Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is not necessarily a standalone video game, but a single-player DLC for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. This upcoming story DLC will take place after the events of the fourth main Uncharted installment. Players will be taking on the role of Chloe Frazer as she travels to India’s Western Ghats mountain range amid a civil war in search for a mystical treasure. The game does take palce after the events of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and while you don’t need to play Uncharted 4 or arguably any of the previous installments, its well worth going back and doing so. Most of the main characters from this installment are side-characters from the previous Uncharted titles and it helps bring in some background details for the cast. Just keep in-mind that this game doesn’t feature the leading protagonist of the series, Nathan Drake.
#8 Ratchet & Clank

- Publisher: Sony Computer Entertainment
- Platforms: PS4
- Release: April 12, 2016
Ratchet & Clank is a classic platformer that many of us remember playing when we were younger. The franchise has fallen a bit on hard times though it’s likely this new re-imagining of the very first title within the series will spark interest back up for the franchise once again. Outside of the video game, there is a connected feature animated film that can be picked up today. Gameplay is similar to the past video game titles from the series. Players will be progressing through the title with platforming mechanics along with beat ’em up style combat. There are also a variety of puzzles to solve along with racing levels and boss fights. While the animated film didn’t receive the most praise and welcomed reception, the video game is definitely a platformer you’ll want to include in your collection.

Players take on the role of a man named Deacon St. John who is looking to survive the world with the help of his mate Boozer. In order to keep up, Deacon and Boozer are forced into aiding other factions around the area with problems that have came up in their settlements. As you progress through the game, you learn more of Deacon’s backstory as he hopes to finally get questions answered since the world came crashing down.
Set in an open world, players will be working on completing a series of campaigns and quests that pop up.
