- Publisher: 2K Games
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO
- Release: September 13, 2019
Borderlands is a successful video game franchise though despite having a following, we haven’t had a third main installment since Borderlands 2 launched in 2012. However, in a surprise announcement during PAX East, we got the announcement of Borderlands 3 which is slated to launch in September of this year. We haven’t got too many details about the game at the moment, but apparently, this time around there will be four new vault hunters and two cult leader antagonists to deal with. This game is likely going to have plenty of information roll out during E3 of this year but so far the trailer footage revealed so far looks to be the traditional gameplay we’ve come to know and love from the franchise. At the moment, it doesn’t look like there is any particular exclusives on any platform outside of being a timed exclusive on PC’s Epic Games Store.
Dirt Rally 2.0
- Developer: Codemasters
- Publisher: Codemasters
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO
- Release: February 26, 2019
Dirt Rally is developers Codemasters overall revised installment to the Rally series. Essentially, Dirt Rally morphed from the Colin McRae Rally series which first came out in 1998. Within the game, players will race in a variety of off-road terrain tracks on tracks set all over the world. Likewise, select tracks may have various weather conditions that could alter the overall feel of the vehicle you’re racing with. There is a total of seventy different cars to choose from and over thirty stages.
Now since Dirt Rally has released, Codemasters has returned to give players a brand new experience with Dirt Rally 2.0. Just as before, players will be receiving a realistic physics racing experience but now with a new weather system. It seems that weather conditions will not only play a role in how the car handles on the track but your visibility of the road. Currently, the game will release with a total of fifty cars to choose from and eight circuits from the FIA World Rallycross Championship.

BioMutant
- Developer: Experiment 101
- Publisher: THQ Nordic
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO
- Release: 2019
In Biomutant, players take the role of a raccoon-like creature that must save the world. With a poisonous oil springing up from the ground, most the world is quickly infected and dying off. This also has spread to the Tree of Life, a giant tree that brings life to the whole world.
Players must go to each of the six roots of the Tree of Life and stop the oil and defeat each boss. Furthermore, the game will be tossing players a number of decisions that will affect the overall narrative storyline. Likewise, the choices you make will ultimately alter the world itself. Developers have stated that the entire world is open for players to explore with only sections blocked, forcing players to progress the narrative in order to gather the items required to access past unreachable areas.
Currently the game doesn’t appear to have a specific release date yet and while there does seem to be some ambition to deliver a branching narrative story, Experiment 101 is still hopeful that this game will be released in 2019. Because its launching on PC, PS4, and lastly Xbox One, we’re curious as to if this game will feature any platform timed exclusivity, though there has not been any word yet if a certain platform will receive any incentives.
