Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a strangely named, but totally rad (by all accounts) spinoff of Hideo Kojima's long-running Metal Gear series. As the R's in the name would suggest, it stars Raiden instead of Solid Snake or any of his other incarnations, and also unlike the Metal Gear Solid games, the game is primarily focused on intense third person melee combat. It's a bit like DmC, if DmC had a cyborg ninja who wears an eyepatch.
Developed by Platinum Games, MGR: Revengeance plays as a fairly straightforward action adventure in which you're tasked to hack and slash your way through countless mercenaries and cyborg henchmen and bring down their bosses. It can also be fairly challenging. To that end, we've compiled a video walkthrough to get you through the game so you spend more time tearing the enemies apart instead of tearing your own hair out.
