Halo 4 Terminal Locations Video Guide

November 5, 2012 by Alex Co

Find all the hidden terminals in Halo 4 with the help of this easy to use video guide.

Halo 4 Terminal

Now that Halo 4 is out and available for everyone to play, some of you might need help in finding the Terminals scatter throughout Halo 4's single-player campaign. Just in case Halo 4 is your first Halo game, you should know that Terminals serve to fill you in on the series' backstory. Additionally, the Terminals are a continuation of the "Iris" game used as a viral marketing tool by Microsoft for Halo 3.

So why do you even need to care? Well, not only will these Terminals offer more insight into the game's story and lore, it will also net you Achievements — and we know just much gamers these day love 'Cheevos.

For those wondering, here are the two Achievements you can earn in the game that are tied-in to Terminals:

Contact the Domain (10G) — Find a Terminal in the Campaign.

Terminus” (50G) — Find all of the Terminals in the Campaign.

Indeed, getting all seven Terminals in Halo 4's campaign will net you a hefty 50G. Fortunately, Terminals can be collected regardless of the difficulty mode you're playing on.

Without further ado, here's how to get each Terminal in Halo 4 and in chronological order.

Terminal 1 – Requiem

Terminal 2 – Forerunner

Terminal 3 – Infinity

Terminal 4 – Reclaimer

Terminal 5 – Shutdown

Terminal 6 – Composer

Terminal 7 – Midnight

There you go. Hopefully, you can watch these videos before completing your first playthrough so you can get all of them in one go. Also of note, while the game has seven Terminals now, that doesn't mean 343 wont' add more in the future, as the studio has done that before.

Are you going after all the Terminals or you couldn't care less? If you choose the former, hopefully, this guide will be a big help.
