Overall, players take on a journalist named Blake Langermann, who, along with his wife, begins to explore the Arizona desert for clues of a murdered pregnant woman, Jane Doe. A helicopter crash has separated Blake from his wife, forcing players to locate her while traveling through a village of individuals who believe the world is coming to an end.
