Dark Souls 3‘s newest DLC, The Ringed City is finally out. Between the harsh enemies and dilapidated environment, you’ll need all the help you can get to survive the next hurrah in From Soft’s cruel world. That’s where Gameranx comes. This guide will tell you where to find all of the new weapons in The Ringed City as well as any useful information about them. So get ready and make sure you don’t die (much)!
- Aquamarine Dagger
- Where: Dreg Heap Bonfire, drop down and cross the bridge, then head left up the stairs. An enemy will drop down, then you’ll be able to grab it.
- Things of Note:
- Cannot be modified.
- Weapon art can be activated between combos and after rolls. Similar to trick weapons from Bloodborne.
- Crucifix of the Mad King
- Where: Item drop from Shira at end of The Ringed City.
- Demon’s Scar
- Where: Sooul Transposition with Soul of the Demon Prince.
- Things of Note:
- Cannot be modified.
- No heavy attack.
- Can be used for pyromancies.
- In offhand wielding, L1 won’t block, but execute a light attack.
- Dragonhead Greatshield
- Where: From the Ringed City Streets Bonfire, head through shortcut until you reach the dragon bridge. The shield will be under this bridge.
- Dragonhead Shield
- Where: Found after finishing the “Show your Humanity” puzzle near the Ringed City bonfire.
- Frayed Blade
- Where: Transposed with Soul of Darkeater Midir
- Things of Note:
- Cannot be modified.
- Reinforced with Titanite Scale
- Gael’s Greatsword
- Where: Can be obtained through Soul Transposition with the Soul of the Slave Knight Gael.
- Giant Door Shield
- Where: You can find this shield just past the Earthen Peak Ruins. It will be in a shack to the right of the first flying hollow. A corpse will be laying with a corpse.
- Harald Curved Greatsword
- Where: You can find this weapon near the Earthen Peak Ruins. Make your way over to the castle and the roots into the swamp area. On the left of the swamp, under a flying hollow, you will find a cave. Enter the cave and you’ll find the greatsword on a corpse.
- Things of Note:
- Can be modified.
- Titanite Reinforced.
- Ledo’s Great Hammer
- Where: This weapon can only be found if you are invaded by the Silver Knight Ledo. To do this, you need to head up the long stairwell in The Ringed City. Head up the long ladder to the White Preacher at the bottom of the long staircase in the swamp. At the top of the ladder, head right and drop onto the path below. Eventually you will enter a room where Ledo will invade.
- Lothric War Banner
- Where: Right after you meet Lapp the first time in the Earthen Peak Ruins, you can see a bridge that you can drop onto. Ignore this and head right and drop into the ash. After the enemies you encounter, you’ll find another safe spot to drop. Once here, get past the knights and the banner will be found on a corpse.
- Things of Note:
- Can be modified.
- Titanite Reinforced.
- Murky Hand Scythe
- Where: Corpse loot in The Dreg Heap after you drop through the glass ceiling. The corpse will be up a staircase on a collapsed bookcase.
- Things of Note:
- Can be modified.
- Titanite Reinforced.
- Murky Longstaff
- Where: Found in the Dreg Heap after passing the two angel-esque hollow shooting at you. Head out of the building and go right up the hill. Then take another right into the building and through the room of spawning hollows, the corpse holding the staff will be in the final room here.
- Things of Note:
- Can be modified.
- Titanite Reinforced.
- Preacher’s Right Arm
- Where: Head to the swamp and continue going straight. Go to the right of the large enemy in the middle. You will find the hanging corpse here that holds the weapon.
- Things of Note:
- Can be modified.
- Titanite Reinforced.
- Repeating Crossbow
- Where: Transposed with Soul of Slave Knight Gael.
- Things of Note:
- Only need one bolt to use it.
- Ringed Knight Paired Greatswords
- Where: Dropped by Ringed Knight before you arrive at the cathedral near the altar where the Spears of the Church are ranked up.
- Ringed Knight Spear
- Where: Descend the steps near Shira and head right before you reach the swamp. It will be on a corpse behind a Ringed Knight.
- Ringed Knight Straight Sword
- Where: Head into the swamp, go right past the large enemy and up a small hill. It will be on a corpse near a Locust Man.
- Things of Note:
- Cannot be modified.
- Twinkling Titanite Reinforced.
- Sacred Chime of Filianore
- Where: Given by Shira when on your first encounter when she is behind the door at the top of the large stairwell. If you achieve her tasks of Darkeater Midir, she will gift you will the Chime.
- Things of Note:
- Pray of Favor Works when Chime is put away.
- Splitleaf Greatsword
- Where: Can be bought from the Stone-Humped Hag at the Dreg Heap Bonfire or from the Shrine Handmaiden after giving her the Old Woman’s Ashes. Both will cost 11,000 souls.
- Things of Note:
- Can be modified.
- Titanite Reinforced.
- White Birch Bow
- Where: At the Ringed City Streets Bonfire, go into the swamp and head to the back left corner. You’ll find a few monk hollows guarding a corpse at the top of a hill. Defeat the monks and loot the corpse.

- Outranges Short Bow.
