Zelda: Breath of the Wild – How To Solve All Shrines | Faron Walkthrough

March 28, 2017 by Kevin Thielenhaus

On WiiU & Switch: Take on the Eventide Island quest, explorer an entire optional village, and enjoy time under the falls with all 8 Faron shrines.

Table of Contents – Faron Shrines

  • Shoda Sah Shrine
  • Yah Rin Shrine
  • Kah Yah Shrine
  • Tawa Jinn Shrine
  • Korgu Chideh Shrine
  • Shai Utoh Shrine
  • Qukah Nata Shrine

Muwo Jeem Shrine – A Modest Test of Strength

Seen on the high peak of Cape Cales. The shrine is even visible from Hateno Village. Climb onto Mount Dunsel from Lurelin Village to reach the top and get this conspicuous shrine.

Here, you’ll have to do battle with a Guardian Scout Mark 3. These are pretty tough opponents, so don’t attempt to fight until you’ve cleared a couple of Divine Beasts, or upgraded a set of armor to Level 2. A handful of good weapons like Soldier Swords will help, but Royal Weapons from Hyrule Castle can make mincemeat out of these machines.

This guy isn’t any different from your average Guardian Scout. Use the pillars when it attempts a spin charge, back away when it uses a beam-spin, and attack before it can unleash a devastating charged beam when the Scout is low on health.

When the Scout is defeated, collect your reward treasure chest and interact with the altar.
