Need For Speed Most Wanted Gameplay Trailer Depicts High Speed Chases, Brute Force

September 25, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new trailer for Need for Speed Most Wanted hits the web.

EA and Criterion have released a new trailer of their upcoming game, Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Most Wanted introduces the vast, open world of Fairhaven for players to cruise around in at their leisure, while partaking in races and high-speed chases against the local police.

Players can use a variety of techniques to evade the police, ranging from simply outrunning them to using brute force to take them down.

The latest trailer depicts a high speed race that’s rudely interrupted by a squad of police who decide to clamp down on the action by setting up a roadblock, which the player deftly evades and makes his getaway to drive across a series of areas, including a highway and an abandoned airfield where he finds another race car waiting for him in a warehouse, which he then takes over, depicting one of the game’s many interesting gameplay mechanics.

Need for Speed Most Wanted will be out on the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 on October 30.
