Trophy hunters could be either very ecstatic about this or very upset, depends on how they like earning their trophies, but it has been confirmed that Platinum Games latest title — Nier: Automata, allows users to purchase PSN trophies via an in-game currency.
The news comes from Reddit user youkatei, where they note that there is an in-game currency that allows users, if wanted, to purchase PSN trophies after completing the game three times. Automata has a lot of secret and varied endings, so there is no doubt players will have multiple playthroughs.
The trophies are located in a secret shop in the game. This could be good news for trophy hunters, due to the fact the game is going to be very long. So perhaps after saving up some money and completing the game three times, you will have enough to unlock those pesky trophies that might take too long to unlock naturally.
