First things first, let’s clarify that the PS4 Pro performs quite differently to the standard PS4 and Xbox One
As reported by Digital Foundry, the Pro’s frame rate stands around 44-55 frames per second (FPS), which the original consoles don’t quite match with their sad 30-40 FPS.
Although Sniper 4 Elite is maxed out at 30 FPS on Xbox One, it seldom performs to that degree. Especially during the highly demanding scenes, where it barely makes it to 20 FPS.
The PS4 however, features more impressive shadow and texture detail, but ultimately looks similar to its Xbox counterpart.
But the Pro enjoys extra draw distances, geometric details, lighting, shadows and reflections, and overall improved performance.
Kudos to the extra CPU and GPU horsepower.
Sniper Elite 4 is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
