There are plenty of great video game titles set to launch this year and ranked high on the list for most gamers highly anticipated video game releases is Nintendo’s upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The latest installment within The Legend of Zelda franchise is offering gamers an open world environment in which Link can explore and complete any dungeon in any order.
Today, we’re learning of two new concept art pieces that Nintendo has published online for gamers to see. The pieces reflect Link gazing into the sunset over Hyrule while the other focuses on one of the Guardian enemies.
From what we know so far, these Guardian enemies can pop up in any shape or size and they will likely offer a variety of attributes to use against players. Though, Nintendo may offer more insight to these enemies as the game approaches its official release date.
As for the narrative, we know that the story is set in Hyrule and will follow protagonist Link after he is awakened from a hundred year slumber to defeat Calamity Ganon. Originally, slated to launch exclusively on the Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo has opted to release The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for both their current generation console the Wii U along with their upcoming console the Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, there is not specific release date attached to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild quite yet, but we do know that this upcoming title will see a release within this year.
