If you watched Ubisoft's awful Gamescom press conference, you're going to wonder why they didn't include this 10-minute clip of gameplay from Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
Courtesy of IGN, most of the stuff shown here are from Ubisoft's E3 unveiling of the game, but that doesn't make it any less impressive. We get to see how the player is now given a choice if they want to execute or spare an enemy's life in certain scenarios.
In addition to that, expect more "Mark & Execute" scenes where it highlights how much of a bad-ass Sam Fisher is.
In the trailer, we also get to see the real threat to Sam's stealth skills…a friggin' dog! It looks like canines can smell or detect Fisher regardless if he's in plain view or not.
I think it's safe to say that if you liked previous Splinter Cell games, then you're going to like what you see here. It just depends on how much you like/dislike the Mark & Execute game mechanic.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is scheduled for release next year on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
