With BlizzCon just around the corner, rumors of a Diablo 4 announcement are heating up ahead of anything official. The event is set to launch on November 4 and Blizzard is expected to announce some new content for their existing games, including Hearthstone, World of Warcraft and Overwatch. Many are speculating that the studio may be releasing a new entry in the Diablo series, the last of which was Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls.
Diablo fan Rhykker reveals that some elements of the BlizzCon promotional package sent out to press members includes some dice, one of which is a D4 with two 1’s and a single ‘4’. It may be a misprint, but fans are speculating how unlikely that is. The number reflects the launch of BlizzCon, which falls on 11/4. Curiously, they’re all printed on a 4-sided die.

Other speculation comes from the release of a t-shirt on Blizzard’s gear store, which bears the name “Diablo 3: Realms of Evil.” Granted, this would point to a second expansion for Diablo 3 rather than a sequel to the game.
Additionally, fans of Overwatch discovered a hidden easter egg in the Route 66 map, which is a barcode that translates to “CAIN LIVES.”
Finally, the original creators of Diablo, David Brevik and Bill Roper, both paid a visit to Blizzard’s offices in California this month. After his visit, Brevik tweeted out an image of the Libra constellation with the words “For 20 years, Diablo-like games have evolved & surprised us. I’m proud to be the adviser for the game that pushes this genre to new heights.”
