The game known as World of Magic: Planar Conquest claims to take a lot of their cues and inspiration from 1994’s Master of Magic. The developers over at Teyon want to share their game with as much of the community as possible, and soon console gamers can check it out on their PS4 and Xbox One.
But what exactly is the game about? It’s a 4X grand strategy title set in a fantasy world. Your ultimate goal is to become the Supreme Sorcerer Lord, and you’ll need to harness the power of magic and military alike in order to make that happen. The cities scattered throughout the generated universes are sure to be filled with fearsome foes. With the right combination of army power, spell casting, and the occasional magic artifact thrown in for good measure – you got one fair shot at achieving your dream. There’s eight different possible races with plenty of opportunity to customize your Sorcerer Lord. Master the 300 spells and 40 discipline skills and seal your chance of victory.
Worlds of Magic: Planar Conquest is available now on the Playstation Store in Europe for PS4, and is arriving in North America on September 20th. While the Xbox One version still has a “Coming Soon” time-frame, if you want to get your hands on the game by other means you can check it out on Steam and iOS/Android.
