The development team at Lion’s Shade is ready to take their game out of Early Access, and bring it into full release. If a pirate’s life is for you, you’ll get a kick out of this one.
According to the Steam description:
Hey Captain! Now that you’ve got the Jolly Roger fluttering in the wind over your ship, you’re ready to rove the seas, take on merchant ships loaded with booty and storm formidable fortresses. Set sail and get your hands on all those legendary treasures that are just waiting for the picking!
Tempest is an open world pirate game, where you take command of a ship and set forth on the open seas. You’ll come across other pirates and merchants, but be on the look out for the Kraken and Leviathan beasts too. The pirate crew that you hire gains experience as you engage in naval warfare against unsuspecting targets. Raise hell on the open seas with mortars, cannons, and even flamethrowers. There’s over 100 quests for singleplayer folks, but if multiplayer is more your speed there’s PVP and co-op available as well.
