You like fast paced games in space? You don’t mind flashing lights and colors either? Well Hyper Gods has these things, if that’s what you’re digging. Check out the reveal trailer from the developers at Ground Control Studios.
In Hyper Gods, a God is reborn. Unfortunately, it’s an entity with the goal of Armageddon. As the player, it’s your job to put an end to this God’s plans before they’re able to destroy the universe. Your hyper-lasso and hyper-handbrake are all your space soldier has in order to cancel the apocalypse. The team chose to go with the Early Access route in order to improve game mechanics, such as the ships and multiplayer. Hopefully on the side, they hope that Hyper Gods is able to build more of a community following as well this way.
“We’re going for sense of speed and urgency above all. It’s kind of like Quidditch in space… with lasers,” says lead-game designer Pedro Ribeiro.
