LawBreakers is a new upcoming first-person shooter MMO being developed under Boss Key Productions and published by Nexon. More interestingly, this is Cliff Bleszinski’s latest company after his departure from Epic Games. Today a new development diary video has been posted online that details some of the updates that went into the video game and can be enjoyed if you’re a part of the closed beta.
Known for his development on the Gears of War franchise, Cliff Bleszinski has since left Epic Games and founded Boss Key Productions. LawBreakers is the first title in development under the new game studio in which the game does not have a specific release date schedule quite yet.
However, select gamers have had the privilege to enjoy the game early through closed alpha tests, the next one being set for July 9, 2016, through July 10, 2016. It’s here that gamers will be able to enjoy some of the latest updates that have been implemented to the game.
According to the press release that was sent over, here are some of the highlighted changes that you might notice during gameplay.
Core gameplay
- Titan base speed increased from 700 to 800
- Enforcer base speed increased from 700 to 800
- Vanguard base speed increased from 800 to 850
- Assassin base speed increased from 800 to 900
Healing
- Health stations ramp up over time, gaining 10 bonus healing each tick
Assassin
- Romerus charged shot damage per projectile reduced from 35 to 30
- Romerus ideal damage range reduced from 25 to 20 units
Titan
- Self-damage multiplier with the rocket launcher reduced from 75% to 50%
