Halo 5: Guardians is about to receive a brand new update from 343 Industries which will introduce a brand new enemy unit along with a new UNSC vehicle. Gamers will need to prepare when the update rolls out within the Warzone mode.
New details about the upcoming Grunt Goblin and the upcoming UNSC vehicle after 343 Industries spoke with Polygon. As mentioned, the Grunt Goblin is an upcoming boss that will be present within the Warzone and its described by character designer Steve Dyck as a big mech designed by grunts for grunts.
The mech battle suit is equipped with a giant double-barreled heavy needler that can target up to eight players at the same time and deal massive damage to vehicles. If the needler becomes disabled, the mech can switch to a grenade launcher. Because this is a bigger mech, Spartans who get too close can be crushed, much like lightweight vehicles, but don’t expect to get near with bigger vehicles as well since the mech can launch an EMP pulse.
Additionally, the update will bring in a new UNSC aircraft known as the Wasp. This is a quick little aircraft that is equipped with heavy machine guns and rocket launchers. Ideally, gamers would use this vehicle for a quick hit while rushing away from danger. In order to use the Wasp, gamers will need a specific Req card.
