With PAX East looming just outside our doorstep (April 6-8, 2012), it’s only natural that companies begin their announcements as to which games will make an appearance, whether or not they will be playable , and everything else that comes to mind when you hear the words, “convention” or “expo.”
First off, we’ll talk about what the attendees will be allowed to get their hands on. According to Ubisoft, you’ll be able to get a few minutes with all of the following titles: Far Cry 3, Mad Riders, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online. There are a couple of heavy hitters in that list, so be sure to check them out! (There will also be a few smaller/already released titles around, such as I Am Alive and other iOS games.)
One of the biggest elements Ubisoft is bringing to PAX is their latest leak/announcement of Assassin’s Creed III. For the first time, they’ll be showing off real gameplay footage. This will take place inside a fully-enclosed theatre inside Ubisoft’s booth. If I were attending PAX East this year, I would make sure to attend this – just saying.
Additionally, you can get a real tattoo from art inspired through Far Cry 3, or even a Mohawk. Yep, that’s right: a Mohawk. I’m not sure I would jump for either option, but hey, you might!
Head down to booths 824 and 836 at this year’s PAX East for all of these festivities and more!
