Remember the old days, when people looked forward to Spider-Man games? There was nothing quite like flying through the open city web swinging and zipping from building to building, just looking for some criminals to punch or a runaway car to land on. Those were the days, huh?
Well, fine…the games weren't that great. Pretty much everyone admitted that the best part of any Spider-Man game was swinging around, and as soon as you had to actually land and do something, the game was just 'Meh' at best. Still, gamers have a soft spot for the nerdy little super hero, so they keep making games and trying to find the magic combination.
Activision hopes they've found it with The Amazing Spider-Man, a tie in to the rebooted movie franchise. There isn't a ton of info about the game yet, but you can watch this trailer that seems fairly promising. What do you think, could we be getting the Spider-Man version of Arkham Asylum here?
