Grand Theft Auto Online’s Mansions Update Could Add Even More Ways For Players To Show Off Than You Expected

November 14, 2025 by Ryan Parreno

There’s now a reason to show off your helicopters

A fan has noticed something else that could be coming with Grand Theft Auto Online’s Mansions update.

Digital Car Addict shared their observation on Twitter:

In Rockstar’s newest event week Newswire post, they have teased the interior of the new Mansion. However, in the upper right hand corner we see what appears to be the blade of the Volatus Heli.

I tested this myself in-game and it’s a perfect match! Helipad for our Mansions!

What Is The Volatus?

Manufactured by Buckingham, the Volatus is a sleek, speedy helicopter that isn’t built for fighting. No, this helicopter exists for the same reason the real life EHang EH216-S exists. It’s just to farm aura.

Compared to the other helicopters in Grand Theft Auto Online, the Volatus has good performance, but it can be easily downed if someone does decide to take it down with guns or missiles.

Instead it is a luxurious aircraft. Players would get their hands on these for the same reasons they would be buying these mansions.

A Perfect Fit For Your Future Mansion?

Up until now, you could buy buildings to build helipads for your Volatus, but you would also have to keep them in a hangar. But now that players can buy mansions, they can actually get a Volatus for the purpose of enjoying them and showing them off.

The Volatus demonstrates the potential for Mansions to be a suitable Grand Theft Auto Online endgame. If you’ve been playing for years and have millions sitting, looking for something to spend on, this is where the money can finally go.

Getting a mansion means you’ll also have to have a helipad built for it. If you want, you can also have a hangar built for it too. It’ll be great to have a mansion to fly around, but you would get the most out of it if you also had other places in Los Santos to fly to and from your mansion… such as other buildings you own.

It’s the closest equivalent to Rockstar giving you a good ending, or at least the tools to make one for yourself. No word if Rockstar wants to create missions where you can recreate the ending to Scarface, but maybe that’s an idea for GTA RP.

We still don’t know how much content Rockstar has made and planned for this mansions update. Depending on how this update goes, they may add more in the coming months to keep fans satiated until Grand Theft Auto 6.
