The Nintendo Switch 2 will likely be announced in February 2025. This is as per notable insiders and Youtubers Nate the Hate and Modern Vintage Gamer. Both of these personalities have speculated that the Switch 2 is not far off.
As shared to Reddit by manoffood. Nate The Hate and Modern Vintage Gamer recently discussed the announcement and release of the successor to the Nintendo Switch. Nate mentioned that the next Nintendo investor’s 9-month earning report is likely going to happen sometime around the end of January or the beginning of February. It’s likely then that the Switch 2 will be discussed. All evidence points to the fact that Nintendo is gearing up for the production of a new console.
Nintendo has been ducking and dodging a confirmation for some time. That may be because the Nintendo Switch is still a very popular console. New games are still being released and the demand is still quite high. Nintendo is likely hesitant to announce a successor which would hurt sales at Christmas time.
Both Nate the Hate and Modern Vintage Gamer are confident that an update will be announced within the next month to two months. Investors seem to be getting anxious about a successor as the demand starts to taper off and the fiscal year comes to a close. At this point, this is still speculation. However, it does coincide with other industry leaks and rumours. Nate the Hate seems to think that the timeframe for the Switch 2 release is likely going to happen around May or June.
Again, this is speculation and it is not set in stone. So it’s best to temper your expectations. If you’d like to read up more on the Nintendo Switch 2 and other information related to its hardware click here.
