Fans are interested in Tetris Forever. The iconic IP has been around for decades and will soon have a new compilation release, bringing out a wide variety of games. Since it was unveiled earlier this year, we had only been told that the game would come out sometime in 2024. Well, the year is winding down, and finally, we have an official launch date.
Thanks to VGC, we’re finding out that Tetris Forever is officially dropping on November 12, 2024. That is just under a month away, so you can start marking down your calendars if this is a release you plan to purchase at launch. That said, if you haven’t been keeping tabs on this game, we’re getting a rather extensive library of Tetris games. Not every Tetris game will be featured, but the collection will have over fifteen games to pick from.
Tetris Forever will include some stuck within Japan that never had a chance to see a release in other markets. Some of the games included in this collection are the original Electronika 60 Tetris release, Hatris, and Tetris Battle Gaiden. Players will also find a new Tetris game added to this collection called Tetris Time Warp. With this collection, you’ll find that the Tetris game will change as you play, making you adjust your strategy as you progress.
Of course, Tetris Forever is also looking to offer some other goodies. This compilation release will also serve as a documentary with footage of the franchise history. Again, you can pick up a copy of the game on November 12, 2024. When the game drops, you’ll find it available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
