Syndicate, a popular YouTube commentator known for his Call of Duty videos, has released a statement regarding the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare remaster. The gamer provided personal confirmation that the game is real.

Yesterday, word about the remaster surfaced after images of an upcoming Call of Duty game, titled Infinite Warfare, had leaked ahead of an official developer announcement. The developers themselves seemed to hint of the game’s existence when they replied with a “pants poop” pair of emojis to a two-year old tweet by someone who suggested that he would “shit his pants” if Infinity Ward announced a remaster of Modern Warfare.
With their tweet, the leak, and Syndicate’s personal word, it’s as close to a confirmation about the Modern Warfare remaster as we’re going to get until Infinity Ward and Activision hold a press event announcing the next Call of Duty.
