Fans of Techland’s parkour-meets-zombies action game Dying Light (read our review) will be pleased to know that the studio has announced today that a novelization of the game is now available internationally through Amazon.
Dying Light – Nightmare Row is set in the same universe as the game and its large expansion, serving as a prequel to the events that take place in the game. Readers will follow the events as they unfold in the streets of Harran through the eyes of an 18-year-old American athlete named Mel Wyatt, who went to the city for the major sporting event, the Harran 2015 Global Athletic Games, which took place during the zombie outbreak.
Mel Wyatt is one of many foreign nationals who were stranded during the outbreak and he now finds himself fighting just to survive as the city is torn apart by both the survivors and the infected.
Anyone who’s played the game will recognize how some of the streets are decorated with sporting banners and some of the zombies can even be found wearing runners outfits.
Nightmare Row is penned by author Raymond Benson, who wrote a couple of James Bond novels. The book is available for $19.99 on Amazon.
