Assassin’s Creed II, set to release next month for the PS3 & Xbox 360, has 3 hours of cut scenes according to British Board of Film Classification.
As mentioned in the BBFC’s classification report for the game, “When submitted to the BBFC the linear elements within the work had a running time (eg cut scenes) of 181m 30s.”
The generous length of cut scenes is not bad as long as they are incorporated well within the story which turned out to be the case in MGS 4 which had 5+ hrs. of cut scenes and Ubisoft has already said that Assassin’s Creed II will be longer than the original which we will find out come November 17.
