There’s been much going on with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet since its arrival in November. The biggest thing is that there have been minor additions to the game. The online modes, for example, have gotten ranked battles and seasons for fans to enjoy. There has also been a slew of special Tera Raid events where trainers can capture Pokemon that aren’t currently in Paldea. But the Mystery Gift codes are one of the more consistent elements since the game’s launch. These seem to come out almost every week and offer various things to players. So if that is something you take advantage of every time, we have good news for you.
If you want to type in the codes, here they are. ENJ0YG0URUMET, G0FR1ENDLYSH0P, BEFASH10NLEADER, 1TSUPT0Y0U, and MAKEWA2AMACH1NE. As you see, you can get five different Mystery Gift codes. But unlike in previous gifts where the codes unlock sandwich ingredients, these items are all about the money. You’ll get items like a Comet Shard, Star Dust, or a Star Piece using these codes.
These are classic items for the series, as they can be sold for money at Pokemon Centers/Marts. So if you need an influx of cash, use those codes and get the money you need to buy things!
There will be more Mystery Gift giveaways like this in the future, so you’ll want to stay tuned. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet haven’t only been in the news because of that, however. It was revealed yesterday that a significant update for Gen 9 would come next month. According to The Pokemon Company, an update will do “big fixes” and bring in “additional functionality.” Both intrigue players because they want to know what will be fixed and what “functionality” will be added to the games. There’s a lot of potential there, depending on how they want to phrase “functionality.”
But that’s not all! Also yesterday, The Pokemon Company revealed a wonderfully directed video highlighting the 1008 Pokemon that exist. They showed off the various types of Pokemon, how they tied into the game’s locations, and how things have evolved, literally and figuratively, over the years. It’s a true trip down memory lane; some have even noted that they’ve gotten emotional watching the video because of how long they’ve been a part of the franchise!
While we might not get a new game from the series this year, that doesn’t mean updates and smaller events won’t happen.
