Fans have read through Tom Clancy’s The Division‘s final game translation files and have shared what appear to be final details of what fans can expect at launch.
You find gear set equipment after completing challenges. Collecting and wearing these sets will give you stat bonuses and talents. Different gear sets have different gear scores, that match up to specific playstyles.
Here are some examples:
- “Tactician’s Authority” – enhances electronics and support capabilities
- “Striker’s Battlegear” – provide bonuses for assault capabilities
- “Sentry’s Call” – enhances marksman capabilities
- “Path of the Nomad” – provides bonuses for lone wanderers
Speaking of gear equipment, you will want to look out for your Gear Score, the average value of all the gear pieces you equipped. When you reach level 30, all non-vanity gear piece has a Gear Score of 30. In general, the higher the Gear Score of a gear piece, the better. You can access some high level challenges only after reaching a certain Gear Score.
You can share items that were dropped by enemies. To do this, you have to drop them yourself, as loot from your inventory, and then other players can pick them up. There is a time limit for trading, and you can only trade them to players who were part of your group when you first picked them up.
Every time you log in, you can access Global and Personal Assignments in the Mission Overview menu. Assignments have time limits, and some will require help from other agents. They come in four categories:
- Combat
- Dark Zone
- Crafting
- Main Missions
The supply drops are now global events that occur multiple times every day. They will contain non-contaminated gear of all types, and as you already now, will be sought after by enemy factions, as well as other agents, within the Dark Zones.
Finally, Challenge Mode is now available for main missions in Lincoln Tunnel Checkpoint, Lexington Event Center, WarrenGate Power Plant and Russian Consulate. These missions make you face stronger enemies, in different positions and layouts than the 1st time you played them. You need to complete a mission and reach level 30 to play Challenge Mode for that mission. Each enemy becomes a level 32 elite, and rebalanced for four players.
