A fan has found evidence that Porsche themed DLC is coming to Turn 10’s Forza Motorsports 6.
If the rumor is true, the Forza Motorsports 6 Porsche DLC will be released on March 1. You can see the screencap of the listing below.
The DLC will feature 20 of Porsche’s most famous cars, all available to collect, race, and even customize. Examples of available vehicles will be the 356A Speedster from 1957 and last year’s #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid.
There will be a guided Porsche Anthology campaign, with 48 events. Multiplayer events will also feature the Porsche theme, including leagues, hoppers, and rivals.
There wil leven be Porsche exclusive mods and badges. All in all, players will be able to collect as much as 250 Gamerscore worth in Xbox Live achievements.
Also part of the DLC is Virginia International Raceway. VIR is a classic American race track, represented here with seven separate ribbons. You can also race through it at night, and with the option to race dry and/or wet.
Our source found all this information on an Amazon listing for the said DLC. Given the amount of detail provided, it’s unlikely (although still possible) that the whole rumor is a fabrication.
Xbox One owners have been fortunate to have consistently received Turn 10’s premier racing games on their console year after year, and widens the gap between them and PlayStation 4 owners. For context, Sony fans are still waiting on a new Gran Turismo game for PlayStation 4 since Gran Turismo 6 was released in 2013 for PlayStation 3.
Are you looking forward to this rumored DLC? Or are you the have nots wishing Turn 10 could bring the game to Windows or even PlayStation 4? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
