Fallout Online, the MMO in development by Interplay that was ultimately shut down by Bethesda in 2012, is perhaps the closest that fans of the series have ever gotten to a multiplayer Fallout experience. With this upcoming mod however, players may be able to get a taste of what a co-op game might feel like in the Fallout universe, courtesy of a user known as Mr. Mouse. So far it hasn’t been released to the greater public, as there are still major bugs to fix, but as a work in progress it’s really coming along. Check it out in the footage above, which will give you a feel of what that would roughly feel like.
Currently the New Vegas Multiplayer team are looking for volunteers for public playtesting so this mod can become a reality. If you’re interested, you can sign up for over at their official site. More details, including footage videos, are also available over at Reddit.
