If you’ve spent any significant amount of time in CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, then you’ll know the game world is massive. Whether it’s the rolling farmlands and forests of White Orchard, the bustling streets of Novigrad, or the murky swamplands of Velen, there’s a lot of real estate for Geralt to explore.
One inquisitive NeoGAF user, EatChildren, unlocked the game’s camera, started scrolling up, and only stopped to take some of these fantastic aerial photos. (Via GamesRadar).
The first shot is of the island Skellige, while the next two are of Velen/Novigrad, and then finally, White Orchard.
The sheer scale of these pictures shows how much time and attention CD Projekt Red spent on the game’s world. We’ve seen screenshots of the game’s Blood and Wine expansion’s setting, so hopefully that environment will intrigue and awe us just as much as the base game did last May.
