Sony shared some gameplay footage of PlayStation 4 action adventure Gravity Rush 2.
If it looks familiar, that’s because this is an extended video of the initial teaser trailer. Sony shared some more details while they were presenting this video in its Gravity Rush Remastered live stream:
Gravity action is the priority, but all elements of the game are being polished. All the main characters are returning, with Raven appearing as an AI ally for tag team boss battles. You still have to fight her in some story based segments. The dev team does know the fans want to play as Raven, and are giving it consideration.
Via Attribute Tune, Kat can switch between three gameplay styles; Lunar Style, which makes her move faster without consuming gravity energy, Jupiter Style, which gives her a block and more powerful attacks, and the normal style.
There will be asynchronous communication features, like sending photos to friends. Via Photo Mode, you can take photos of Kat, and even arrange scenery and objects in the background for her.
The new town has an atmosphere inspired by South American and South East Asia, so expect a lot of street stalls. Thanks to the PlayStation 4’s power, there will be a bigger variety in humans and enemies, and there’ll be work put into creating beautiful panoramas and bright blue skies as well.
In terms of scope, the field is two and a half times bigger than the firstGravity Rush. They intend to make it longer too, meaning more than 20 to 25 hours.
