Codemasters, the developer behind the Formula One, GRID, and DiRT series, has announced the Modern Masters pack for DiRT Rally. The pack introduces two cars to the 2000s class: The Citroën C4 Rally 2010 and the Ford Focus RS Rally 2007. These cars are seen as two of the most influential rally cars in the last decade.
The pack also includes the introduction of the R4 class to DiRT Rally. This class features the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and the Subaru Impreza WRX STI 2011. You can see the cars in action in the trailer at the bottom of the article. The the Group B 4WD and Group A classes have also received handling updates.
Codemasters has continuously updated DiRT Rally since it was released on Steam Early Access in April. While the game launched with 17 classic and current cars, 36 challenge stages, and three real-world environments, the team has since added community requested features like stage distances and elevations, manual headlights and windscreen wipers as well as fixing several bugs and issues. DiRT Rally is a rally simulation game meant to provide high risk, high reward gameplay.
DiRT Rally is available for $49.99 on Steam Early Access.
