Not long ago we had the surprise announcement that a new Disney life sim adventure game would be hitting our platforms very soon. Disney Dreamlight Valley was announced back at the end of April and it was revealed that it would be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Series X and Windows 10/11 PCs in early access this summer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. The game will then be fully launched in 2023 and will be free to play on all platforms, including PlayStation. A Nintendo Switch version is said to be coming soon after as well.
In a new blog post shared earlier today on the Disney Dreamlight Valley website, one of the game’s Community Managers has shed some light on four of the game’s biomes. These are four areas of the valley that will be available for players to explore when the game launches in early access this summer, and they look pretty awesome.
The post explains that the biomes have been designed to bring a sense of authenticity to the game map; with seaside locations for characters like Ursula, for example. In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will be able to explore the different biomes freely and be able to move their homes and the homes of the Disney character friends they make, to any of the different village areas they explore across the biomes.
The four showcased biomes in the post are the Plaza, the Glade Of Trust, Dazzle Beach and the Peaceful Meadow. You can check the preview out in full over at the Disney Dreamlight Valley website, but personally, I’m looking forward to exploring the gorgeously atmospheric-looking Glade Of Trust.
With previews coming our way already, hopefully, it won’t be too much longer to wait until Disney Dreamlight Valley gets a release date for early access on PC and Xbox.
