There is a massive amount of attention on Slitterhead already. This might be a brand new studio with its debut title, but it has a few notable developers. One of those is the creator behind Silent Hill and Siren. Two iconic survival horror franchises and this new upcoming title looks to offer another terrifying experience. But, of course, details of what the game will entail are a bit scarce right now. Fortunately, a new developer Q&A has shed some more light for what players will receive.
Don’t get too excited here. There’s not much in terms of specific details about the game itself. Instead, the developers spent time talking about developing their project and their goals. For instance, one thing that the developers have expressed in the past is that this is not a full-on horror experience. Instead, the game is being developed to be something new as Bokeh Game Studios attempts to tap into players that are not necessarily horror genre fans.
Now that doesn’t mean horror fans are left out. The developers have already expressed that they are looking to find the right balance between fans of the horror genre and newcomers. We’ll, of course, have to wait and see just how that plays when the game officially launches. Although, that’s another area of the game where we’re left waiting on more details.
For fans Silent Hill and Siren, Slitterhead is shaping up to be a game we’re eagerly waiting to play. But, right now, we don’t have a release date set. We’re not even sure just what platforms the game will be launching on at this point. While we wait for more marketing materials to come out to the public, you can check out the developer Q&A footage in the video embedded above.
