Chances are you have been eagerly awaiting the upcoming launch of The Day Before. It was a game teased for a good while now, but fans were left unaware when the title would make its way out into the marketplace. Today, we’re finding out that IGN managed to release some new exclusive gameplay footage. Alongside the gameplay footage, viewers are greeted by the developers over at Fntastic. During this trailer, players are finally given the official release date for The Day Before.
It looks like PC players will receive the game on June 21, 2022. That’s still a ways off, but it at least shows that the developers are gearing up towards the first launch of this game. We make mention of the first launch because we also know that The Day Before will hit the PlayStation 5 along with the Xbox Series X/S platforms. Of course, the footage alone wasn’t all about the release date. Instead, we got another look into the gameplay.
The footage showcased was bits and pieces of the overall gameplay players can expect. There is scavenging for items at different locations, battling undead zombies, modifying their weapons, driving through challenging terrain, and even upgrading a shelter. This game has often been compared to the likes of The Division. However, it’s a good mixture of PvPvE along with survival. We’re hopeful that the game can deliver without a hitch when ready for the PC platform.
Unfortunately, there’s been no word on when players can expect The Day Before on the console platforms. Instead, it’s only slated to release on June 21, 2022, for the PC. The developers will likely have more to share on the console platforms for this game later on within the coming year.
