This H1Z1 Twitch Streamer Took a Non-Violent Approach to Battle Royale

February 18, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

And he even got other players to drop their weapons in protest of violence.

There are many ways to play H1Z1. Thanks to the game’s emergent player-directed narrative, players can pretty much do what they want and create their own stories in the game. This is especially true in the game’s Battle Royale mode, which pits players to fight against each other and be the last man standing—just like in the Battle Royale series of films.

One gamer, Twitch live streamer Ceez, decided to roleplay a non-violent character, getting other players on the Battle Royale server that he was playing on to lay down their arms and join him to escape the poisonous gas clouds and go up the hill, surviving in cooperation until only one of them remained alive, instead of picking each other off like murderers.

Check out the video below for the show.

Assuming you prefer to go down the violent path (or have to deal with violence from other players), we’ve prepared a guide on how to survive Battle Royale in H1Z1.
