We also got a look at Link’s Fierce Deity alternate colors, itself a reference to Majora’s Mask, whose 3DS remake was just recently announced.
On Wednesday, the very insane looking Mario Circuit stage was revealed. It is based on the track of the same name in the Flower Cup for Mario Kart 8. The course flips upside down, but the fighters stay on a floating platform, just like the Wii Sports Resort and Pilotwings stages. You will see racers, particularly Shy Guys, racing across the track, even flipping, the whole time.
On Thursday, Sakurai shared the screens for Movies mode. Here, you will be able to see the fighter introductions, as well as the endings, after you unlock them.
Today Sakurai griped about how hard it is to explain Smash Tour. He suggests fans play with it at least three times to really get the whole concept behind it.
