News about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is slowly trickling out now that the 3DS version is in the wild. We're already aware of a pair of modes called "Master Orders" and "Crazy Orders," and we're waiting on confirmation from either Nintendo or director Masahiro Sakurai regarding a plethora of potential other modes. But suddenly out of nowhere, Amazon swoops in to steal Nitnendo's thunder.
The Amazon product description for Smash Wii U currently reads:
The multiplayer showdown you know and love is now on the Wii U console! Take on all comers as Mario, Mega Man, Sonic, and more gaming greats. Or tap an amiibo to the Wii U GamePad controller to train it up by battling with or against it. You can even pit your amiibo against a friends’ to see how your training methods stack up. Whether you’re creating stages on the GamePad, competing in challenges crafted by Master Hand and Crazy Hand, or outwitting your opponents in a brand new board game mode, there’s no doubt that the ultimate Smash Bros. game has arrived.
The challenges crafted by Master Hand and Crazy Hand could reasonably be associated with "Master Orders" and "Crazy Orders," but this is the first time we've heard word that we will get another stage builder (connected to the "Choose a Build" announcer clip, I figure). And that board game mode might be "Smash World," the Wii U analog to "Smash Run" on 3DS.
There's still so much to learn about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, more of which will be revealed in an announcement event currently being prepared. The clock is ticking down to its release on November 21, so Nintendo better hurry and get the word out.
