PC players eagerly waiting for the release of Dead Rising 3 will get one step closer as preload has gone live since late yesterday, as reported by the community forum on Steam.
The download is a hefty 25GB so you might want to get started ASAP if you don't have a fast connection. Dead Rising 3, which†which previously released as an Xbox One exclusive November last year will make its way on the PC†later this Friday, September 5th.
If you haven't pre-ordered yet, retailers are adding an incentive for pre-order with a free upgrade to the Apocalypse Edition along with a limited time 10% instant savings.
For savvy players, you can get an additional 23% off at GMG, making Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition only $34.65 for the Steam key if you use coupon GMG23O-FFLABO-RDAYUS during checkout.
The upgraded Apocalypse Edition comes with four downloaded content packs, aptly named "Untold Stories of Los Perdidos". These packs were previously released on the Xbox One and each pack focuses on a different character. You'll be able to play special forces commander Adam Kane, infected survivor Angel Quijano, ZDC agent Brad Park and finally biker Hunter Thibodeaux (yep that's a real last name).
