Ubisoft has published three new high-definition screenshots of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Rogue for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game appears to be shaping up rather well, and is out for release in just a couple of months—far sooner than anyone could have anticipated.
Given the game’s short development timeframe, there are concerns that it may not be up to par with the rest of the series, but given that it uses the same engine as Assassin’s Creed 4, we’re not too worried about it. Coupled with the fact that it’s only coming out on last-gen consoles, we figure that the development can’t have been too difficult for the folks at Ubisoft to tackle.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue is the first game in the series where you get to take on the role of a Templar—who have served as villains in the long-running series, since its inception with the first Assassin’s Creed.
Aasassin’s Creed Rogue will be released alongside Assassin’s Creed Unity on November 13. It comes out on November 11 in North America and November 13 in Europe.
