At long last, Metro Redux is out in the United States.
Metro Redux features upgraded versions of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, designed for new-gen platforms with features like 4K graphics on the PC.
The games have been completely remastered with gameplay, gunplay, AI, and lighting enhancements and play at 60 frames per second.
Both games are available separately through digital formats on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a boxed compilation that includes both titles available through retail outlets.
The games will be available on August 29 in Europe—that’s on Friday, which is fairly typical of European release schedules.
The games’ release comes with a launch trailer showcasing the new quality content that made its way through the new versions of the game.
If you’ve already played either of the two games, are you considering picking it up? If you haven’t, now’s a good time to do so.
